Nadeem Aziz is an associate in our Corporate and International practices. Nadeem advises both private and public clients in the areas of cross-border and domestic mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, international and domestic joint ventures, private equity and global corporate reorganizations. He also provides legal counsel to clients on international and domestic commercial agreements including licensing, supply, distribution and logistics arrangements, and provides general corporate and commercial counseling.

Before joining our firm in 2008, Nadeem spent 4 years as in-house counsel at Kuwait National Petroleum Company. Nadeem also spent 6 years as a commercial lawyer in the Kuwait and Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) offices of a leading regional law firm.

• Advised Fairfax, an international investment bank, on its $208.6 million acquisition of Gulf Insurance Company K.S.C. (Gulf Insurance), from KIPCO Projects (Holding) Company.
• Advised Praxair Inc. as U.S. counsel, on its acquisition of Refrigeration Oxygen Limited Company WLL in Kuwait and its subsidiary Qatari Oxygen Company WLL in Qatar.
• Advised Ahmad Hamad Al-Ghosaibi & Bros, a Saudi conglomerate, in all corporate matters related to its restructuring (largest in Saudi history).
• Advised Greif Inc. (U.S. publicly traded) in a global joint venture with Dabbagh Group Holding Company.
• Advised Dabbagh Group Holding Company in its aborted bid for certain oil & gas assets across North Africa (valued at USD700 million).
• Advised Al-Saggaf Medical, the largest Saudi Arabian pharmacy chain, in the aborted sale of a contracting interest to a Dubai-based private equity firm.
• Advised Chemtura Corporation, a US publicly traded specialty chemicals company, in a joint venture with Al-Zamil Group.
